Corporate Restructuring/Financial Services

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing companies, industries, historical financial statements and prospective financial information
  • Performing financial analysis and modeling; preparing presentations
  • Working with distressed companies to find strategic and financial solutions
  • Assisting with execution of Special Situations M&A and capital raising assignments/project management
  • Leading efforts to collect information that supports buyer due diligence
  • Provide accounting and financial support to our clients and transaction teams
  • Maintaining relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
  • Analyzing M&A market trends and writing related industry research
  • Assisting with all other aspects of industry-focused marketing initiatives
  • Advising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings
  • Distressed M&A advisory services
  • Participating in complex negotiation on behalf of our clients

Requirements

  • Four-year degree with outstanding academic record
  • One - two years of prior relevant work experience, preferably in investment banking, corporate restructuring, business consulting, corporate development, diligence, commercial banking, equity or fixed income research or private equity
  • High degree of maturity and integrity
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership skills and work ethic
  • Self-starting team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and financial modeling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Capital IQ
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States - E-Verify Employer
